Effect of Fire Flame (High Temperature) on the Self Compacted Concrete (SCC) One Way Slabs

Experimental work was carried out to investigate the effect of fire flame (high temperature) on specimens one way slabs using Self Compacted Concrete (SCC). By furnace manufactured for this purpose, twenty reinforced concrete slab were exposed direct flame. All have same dimensions. The cooled in two types, gradually by left them air and suddenly water. After that tested under point loads, study, different: temperature levels (300ºC, 500ºC 700ºC), cooling rate (gradually sudden conditions) compressive strength, modulus rupture, flexural strength behavior comparing results with without burning (reference specimens). showed that, rupture decreases while maximum (central) deflection increases increasing temperature.
